Soundtrack

#Breakforcist features an original 14-song soundtrack by Pete Ellison, recalling the era of 2000's Playstation and Dreamcast games that seamlessly mixed the sounds and sights of underground culture into videogame-land. Reaching further into "uncanny valley" territory, the soundtrack prominently features vocals by Vocaloid virtual-singer "Cyber Diva" on multiple tracks.

"...I spent at least two hours curled up with my iPad, paddling balls at breakfast. Well-played, Breakforcist."
- Kotaku
"...definitely one of the better brick-breaker games for mobile right now and certainly the most interesting"
- Gamezebo
"...there's a delightful mania to the game that makes destroying the blocks feel perfectly chaotic."
- Pocket Gamer
"...the EDM music is top-notch..."
- AppAdvice
"The marriage of pre-teen, super-happy, kawaii utopia and a nostalgic love for syrupy pancakes is the aesthetic i didn’t know I needed until I started playing."
- Satchell Drakes
"Breakforcist, like all the best games focusing on a flow state, imparts a constant sense of synesthesia. Music, graphics, and play all work together to form a cohesive experience, where the lines are blurred. The way these three elements compliment one another is the coolest thing about this game."
- Gary Butterfield, Watch Out For Fireballs Podcast
